Klasická 3D střílečka Serious Sam II je postavena na úplně novém grafickém enginu s mnohem komplexnějším herní prostředím, důmyslnější fyzikou a větším počtem nepřátel. Valit se na Vás budou ze všech koutů nejrůznější protivníci - démoni, čarodějnice, děsiví klauni, různé humanoidní příšery, goblini a další podivná monstra.
Levelů by mělo být něco přes 40; navštívit byste v nich měli okolo sedmi různých světů (džungle, bažina, zamrzlá tundra, vulkanické planety, futuristická města, aj.). Pokud jde o zbraně, některé z nich budete znát z dřívějška, i když budou trochu jiné. Těšit se ale můžete i na spoustu nových, mezi kterými nebudou chybět pila, granáty, plazmová zbraň, raketomet, Uzi a mnoho dalších.
